Benning Animal HospitalAshley, Reception Manager

Ashley is the reception manager at Benning Animal Hospital. She is originally from Columbus, GA. Ashley is a graduate of Columbus State University where she earned her degree in criminal justice. She also earned a certificate from Columbus Technical College in medical coding. Ashley has worked in the veterinary field for over 10 years.

At home, Ashley has a lab mix named Buddy and two dachshunds named Alex and Chappie. In her free time, she enjoys reading good books, watching movies, hiking trails, walking dogs and vacationing with her husband.

Kaitlyn is from Winchester, VA. She has been a receptionist at Benning Animal Hospital for three years. Kaitlyn has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice with a minor in sociology from the University of South Alabama. Her goal is to continue her education and obtain her master's degree. At home, Kaitlyn has two Great Pyrenees/golden retriever mixes named Ellie and Teller, and a German Shepherd named Triton.

Diann joined the team as a receptionist in 2007 with 40 years of customer service experience. She has enjoyed working at Benning Animal Hospital because she "loves her co-workers, and the doctors are simply awesome."

Diann owns two cats named Lupin and Tia Dalma; and four dogs named Crank, Mr. Gibbs, Lakota and Pumpkin. In addition to caring for her pets, Diann likes to solve jigsaw puzzles, read, collect Harry Potter memorabilia and spend time with her family.

Benning Animal HospitalDawn Tanner, Receptionist

Dawn Tanner is from Summerville, South Carolina, where she met her husband, Ray. They moved to Ft. Benning, Georgia, with their two boys, Ret and Reed. Dawn enjoys traveling, and lived in the British Virgin Islands where she adopted her first dog while volunteering at the island's SPCA. It was there she fell in love with promoting the welfare and humane treatment of animals.

Today, Dawn has two Boston Terriers named Beaufort and Stuart, and a cat named Adalyn. Her goal is to help military families know that Benning Animal Hospital provides a friendly and caring alternative veterinary service while they transition to Ft. Benning. Dawn is very excited to become a member of our family, and looks forward to meeting clients and their fur-babies!

Pet Boarding Team

Benning Animal HospitalPenny Moores, Pampered Pets Manager

Penny began her pet care career here at Benning Animal Hospital in December 1999. For over 16 years, she has helped provide a home-like environment for boarding animals.

As the Pampered Pets Manager, Penny helps bathe, feed, clean, and play with the pets boarded at the hospital. However, it's her caring and nurturing attitude that keeps pets wanting more. "I love having boarders that are excited to come back," Penny states. She also credits the hospital's great work environment as a major contributor to both her and her clients' happiness.

At home, Penny has a Jack Russell terrier mix named Pebbles and a domestic shorthair named Meho. She enjoys crafting, bicycling and working in her garden.

Benning Animal HospitalReginald A. Weeks, Senior Kennel Assistant

Reginald joined the Benning Animal Hospital staff in 2008 as a kennel technician, and is currently the senior kennel assistant. He has been in the pet care field for eight years and says he is always eager to meet new people and their furry friends. His cental professional interest is ensuring the wellbeing of each animal at Benning Animal Hospital.

When he isn't working, Regie likes to spend time with his son and family. He considers himself a master of conspiracy theories. Regie also enjoys playing basketball.

Benning Animal HospitalAmanda Brosamer, Kennel Assistant

Originally from Las Vegas, Nev., Kennel Assistant Amanda has worked at Benning Animal Hospital since 2013.

Amanda has a Jack Russel/Scottish terrier mix named Miley, a Queensland heeler mix named Delilah and a domestic longhair cat named Lilly.

In her free time, Amanda participates in various canine sporting events with Delilah and Miley, including agility, barn hunts, dock diving, rally, lure coursing and obedience training. She hopes to compete in tracking in the future. Amanda enjoys horseback riding, camping and whitewater rafting.
