COVID-19 Update 2/1/21
Our doctors and staff at Benning Animal Hospital continue to serve our community through the COVID-19 pandemic. We are excited to be able to see our clients again face to face versus only communicating via phone or text. We also recognize that the virus is still out there and that social distancing is becoming the new “normal”.
We will maintain curbside appointments until further notice. Please continue to call us when you arrive to the clinic to check in for your appointment as our lobby will remain closed to the public at this time (WE DO NOT HAVE PUBLIC RESTROOMS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME).
If you have a scheduled appointment, please plan to be here for the duration of the appointment. If you have to leave the premises for any reason, please let one of our staff members know so we can have you fill out drop off paperwork.
If you have any type of upper respiratory infection or fever, please reschedule your appointment.
Our Doctors may wish to offer in clinic consultations for the following:
-Sick patients
-Hospitalized patients
-Quality of life examinations
-Euthanasia
For these appointments, the following requirements must be fulfilled:
• Only one person is allowed to accompany the patient.
– Exceptions will be made for euthanasia and can be discussed with our support staff
• Paperwork will be filled in your vehicle
• Masks that cover your mouth and nose are required
• We will require clients to use hand sanitizer immediately upon entering the hospital
• A $30 office visit will be applied to all in clinic appointments
• We will continue to not shake hands or hug our clients. This makes us sad, but know that your health is a priority for us.
We will continue to have limited space available for boarding, so please call us if you need to make a reservation.
For boarding reservations, the following requirements must be fulfilled:
• All boarding paperwork must be filled out prior to drop off (forms are available on our website at www.benninganimalhospital.com).
• We will require any vaccine history prior to drop off.
• We will not be taking any unnecessary personal belongings (blankets, toys, beds, etc).
• Boarding drop off will be curbside only; you will call the clinic to check in and make your boarding payment, and a staff member will come get your pet.
If you are interested in scheduling a boarding reservation, or would like more information, please call us at 706-689-6240.
